upstairs Trane split heat pump. at arrival, went to the air handler in the attic and found that the drain pan underneath the unit was full of water. this had caused the overflow safety to shut off power to the system. reason. for the water was because the condensate drain line was disconnected from the unit and allowing water to flow directly into the pan. the drain line has never been glued and secured. reconnected the drain line and glued the fittings.

Lennox split Ac. found system slightly low on refrigerant. quoted to recharge the system and add leak sealant. customer declined at this time.

carrier gas pack downstairs. tested system at arrival and found it low on refrigerant. we added refrigerant and leak seal last year, and today it is low again. performed a leak search and confirmed that the evaporator coil is leaking and has to be replaced. due to the age and conditions all options should be explored. submitted information to AHS for authorization of repairs

appointment scheduled 730-12. arrived at 730 and rang doorbell and knocked on the front door. waited 20 mins and no answer. verified that I was at the correct address of 1921, not 1922 will have to reschedule. multiple cars in the driveway. no sounds or movement inside the home. verified that the on the way message was sent when I was in route to the home.

carrier split heat pump, whole house system. two zones. the uos6damler was getting stuck and not fully opening, restricting the airflow. the damper arm was bund in the insulation of the flex. freed the arm and damper is now working. also found that the condenser was running a very high head pressure. quoted customer to clean the outdoor coil and they agreed. cleaned the coil and tested. system is now running and cooling well

replaced the indoor txv and 5 zone dampers

Amana gas package system. found system empty of refrigerant and the compressor had overheated and shut down. located the leak in the unit and quoted customer price to repair and also quoted a price to replace the system.

carrier split heat pump, whole house system. two zones. unit was running at arrival. customer stated that the unit will cool ok, but during the day as it gets warmer, the unit will not hold the set temp. tested the system and found that the refrigerant levels are low, and causing the unit to freeze over. reason for this is due to bad evaporator coil. will need to replace the evap coil

5/17/24 Returned and replaced control board on the outdoor unit. Testes operation and the system is currently working well at this time. I do highly recommend having the system maintenance and cleaning to prevent premature failure and to keep operating properly.

Rheem split heat pump. Found that the defrost control board in the outdoor unit has shorted and burnt. This is causes the condenser fan motor to not start at all. Wil need to order and replace the board. Due to age and conditions all options should be explored. Submitted information for authorization of repairs
