upstairs carrier split AC and furnace.
at arrival, upstairs was at 100 degrees inside. thermostat was set to the off position but the furnace was still running nonstop in heat mode.
inspected and determined that the thermostat had shorted and was causing the heat to run even when set to off.
replaced the thermostat and tested. system is now running properly and cooling well.
Goodman split heat pump.
found shorted circuit board in air handler causing the electric heat strips to run nonstop. this was causing the electric bill to be sky high.
quoted to replace the board. also quoted to clean the outdoor unit for better performance.
customer agreed. replaced board and cleaned unit. tested an the AC is now cooling very well.
also signed customer up for a one system HVAC Protection Pledge.
2nd floor system. Lennox split ac.
at arrival, found that the compressor wasn't running. checked and found a failed capacitor. replaced the capacitor and tested.
system is now up and running and is cooling well.
it may take it a few hours to reach the desired temp due to how hot it is outside.
No cool service call on the customers Trane system. Only system for the home. The unit had a clogged drain line.

at arrival, tested and found the refrigerant levels were very low, causing the evaporator coil to freeze over.
performed an electronic leak search and found that the evaporator coil is leaking. will have to replace the evaporator coil.
will submit information to AHS for authorization of repairs.
due to the age and conditions all options should be explored
