customer stated that the upstairs didn't feel like much air was blowing out, and that the downstairs seems to be decent but struggled a bit to maintain. inspected the system and found that the upstairs damper was defective, and stuck closed. this was causing the airflow to be restricted and caused the zone board to shut off the system due to low temp. replaced the damper and tested. system is now working and cooling very well.

basement unit. Trane split AC. found failed compressor which keeps tripping breaker in main panel. compressor would ha e to be replaced in order for AC to operate. due to the age and conditions all options should be explored. submitted information to AHS for authorization of repairs

Lennox split AC, whole house system. 2 zones. customer described issues with the system that lead to the investigation of the damper motors. after testing the system, found that the damper motor for the downstairs would stick at random times, causing the unit to cycle on and off due to low temps in the evaporator coil. replaced the damper motor and tested again, and system is now cooling and running as it should. no other issues to report at this time

upstairs Goodman split AC. serves the second and third floor. gathered information for replacement of just the AC evaporated condenser coil. not a typical zone system, has zone dampers but no zone board. customer would like to keep the zoning as is. will have office generate and send quote over for customer to review

Dropped off AC and coil to technician

upstairs carrier split AC. at arrival, noticed that the outdoor fan was running but the compressor was not. inspected and found that the wire for the capacitor for the compressor was burnt in-between and disconnected. replaced the capacitor for the compressor and installed a new wire and connectors. tested and system is now cooling very well.

customer had stated that the outdoor unit was making a sound outside that was not normal. at arrival, had customer turn on the system and I could hear that the outdoor fan had a vibration that was causing the noise. was able to tighten a bolt on top of the fan motor and noise instantly was resolved. system is running and cooling fine, and noise is now not an issue.

upstairs carrier split AC. at arrival, found that the outdoor unit would not start. reason was due to a failed capacitor. replaced the capacitor and tested operation, and the system is now cooling properly. discussed our HVAC Protection Pledge to clean and maintain the system twice a year for best performance. included a quote for both systems to maintenance them.

downstairs carrier split AC. replaced failed indoor blower motor. tested operation after the repairs and the system. is now cooling properly

downstairs Trane split AC. found system very low on refrigerant. searched and found the evaporator coil is leaking. can audibly hear the leak inside the coil. coil will have to be replaced. due to age and conditions all options should be explored. will submit to HSA for authorization of repairs

upstairs split AC. tested system at arrival and found that the compressor outside was not able to start. reason was due to a failed capacitor. replaced the capacitor and started the system. advised customer that the condenser coil was in need of cleaning and he agreed to clean it. washed the coil and finished testing the system. system is now cooling well and running properly

upstairs rheem split heat pump. ran and tested system. after running for 20 minutes, found that the system was slightly overcharged with refrigerant. the system was cooling, but with the overcharge it would cause it to cool less effectively. made adjustments to the charge and checked the indoor blower speeds. ran system. again and tested and system is cooling great.
