downstairs furnace, coil and AC. customer stated that the outdoor unit would not shut off even when the indoor unit was off. inspected and found that the contactor in the outdoor unit has seized shut. replaced the contactor and tested the system. system is currently cooling very well, and there are no other issues to report at this time. attached a quote for our HVAC Protection Pledge to clean and maintain both systems twice a year for best performance

Lennox split heat pump, whole house system. 3 zones. inspected system and found that the system has two major failures. 1. the evaporator coil is leaking refrigerant. confirmed with electronic leak detector. 2. the txv at the evaporator coil is defective and not metering the refrigerant properly. both will need to be replaced. will submit information to AHS for authorization of repairs. due to the age and conditions all options should be explored

upstairs system. carrier furnace and rheem AC and coil. at arrival, found that the blower motor I. furnace has failed and will not run. need to replace the blower motor. installed new blower motor and tested the system. system is now operating and cooling as it should.

customer stated that the linoleum floors in each room were getting wet when the fan was running. tested the system and found that the primary drain line was completely clogged, causing the condensation to back up unit the system. this lead to high humidity levels inside. cleared the drain line and system. is now running as it should.

carrier split heat pump, whole house system, 2 zones. tested system at arrival. found that it seemed the system. was overcharged with refrigerant, and causing excessive moisture in the air handler leading to it leaking. adjusted the charge slightly and got superheat with the range the unit called for. temperatures coming out of the system were extremely good, and system is now running as it should.
